Description: Eight Ball Deluxe is a classic and highly collectable pin made by Bally in 1981 and today, it is a model that is becoming scarcer to find (especially in good condition). The machine being offered for sale is the first version (due to popularity, Bally re-released EBD with different cabinets two more times during the 80's) which is the most sought after edition of this model. This pin is currently in the "IPDB Top 100 Rated Electronic Pinball Machines" chart, as well as the “Pinside Pinball Top 100” chart. The machine that we are offering for sale is working 100% OK without errors: general illumination, switched lamps, solenoids, flippers and all the mechanisms were revised before being re installed and they are working correctly. The artwork of the playfield looks in good condition (see pics) with only some small retouches that are hard to notice. Most of the surface still has the original mylar. The red special insert for the inline drop targets has an small crack, but this does not in any way affect the playability of this machine. Special note: the mirror containing the phrase 25000 WHEN LIT is a decal and the entire top zone of the playfield has been protected with another piece of mylar. The set of plastics is the original and it is in good condition. Corner Pocket plastic has an small piece missing and the Bank Shot plastic has a very small crack (hard to notice). A new set of 12 drop targets was installed in this machine. The three bumper caps are new. The full set of blue posts is new. Lamps for the general and switched illumination are working 100% OK. The backglass is the original (not a reproduction) and it is in very decent condition (probably an eight into a scale from zero to ten). There are two small air bubbles in the lower zone (not really noticeable). The lower cabinet and the backbox are in solid condition. The artwork looks OK from an overall view, but there are a lot of retouches made here and there. The frame of the backbox was repainted using a color matched to the original. Boards are the originals and they are in very good condition. Sounds and speech are very clear. The set of displays is working 100% OK with excellent brightness and without segments or digits missing or always on. Front door and backbox have locks with the corresponding keys. Two coin mechs for quarters are included. They are working without problems. Leg levelers are new. A copy of the manual & schematics is included.
