Description: Here is for sale an used Stern ORBITOR 1 pinball machine in very nice condition. This model is highly collectible because the unique type of playfield designed only for this model and the low number of units manufactured by Stern in 1982. The playfield and its cover were fully removed to be cleaned. Towers and plastics were cleaned at the same time. Two clear plastics are cracked but this defect is not noticeable. Another clear plastic is broken: an small piece made in clear polycarbonate was installed to reinforce his position. A full set of new plastics was made by Classic Playfield Reproductions and can be bought from various distributors. Burned bulbs were replaced. The set of rubbers is new. Front door and backbox have locks with the corresponding keys. Interior of the backbox and lower cabinet are very clean. Backlite and transculcent front dome are in excellent condition. Backbox and lower cabinet are in very decent condition, but they are not in mint condition: the two colors (black and grey) were retouched in small places here and there. Because the weight of this machine some extra nails and screws were used to reinforce the structure that is very solid. Two coin mechs for quarters are installed and they are working without problems. Legs were repainted and they are in immaculate condition. The set of four leg levelers is included. Front door is in very nice condition. Displays are working 100% OK without segments or digits always "on" or "off". As you can see in the pictures the set of boards is original and they look like new. Batteries were installed in a battery holder located at remote distance to avoid acid damage. Two Eproms used to upgrade the program to remove the "time feature" were installed in the CPU, but the two originals are also included. Lockdown bar, plate for the coins entry and the ball shooter are ultra shiny. A copy of the manual & schematics is included.
