Description: Here is for sale a Williams THE GETAWAY - HIGH SPEED II pinball machine. This classic model was designed by Steve Ritchie and it is currently in the "IPDB Top 100 Rated Electronic Pinball Machines" chart (# 22), as well as the “Pinside Pinball Top 100” chart (# 36). This pin has not been shopped (new rubbers have not been installed, etc.), but it is working 100% OK without errors: general illumination, switched lamps, flashes, solenoids, flippers and all the mechanisms were revised and they are working correctly. The artwork of the playfield looks in good condition with little signs of use. Some plastics are cracked/chipped, but new replacements are available for sale in the market. New flipper plungers, links, and coil stops were installed on the three flipper assemblies. Supercharger magnetic ball accelerator and police siren are both working without problems. The lower cabinet and the backbox are in solid condition with some retouches made here and there. Boards are originals and they are in good condition (very clean). Batteries were installed in a battery holder located at remote distance from the CPU to avoid acid damage. Translite has a couple of scratches near the right side, but they are not overly noticeable when it is installed on the machine. Dot matrix display (DMD) is working 100% OK with no lines or dots missing or always on. Sounds and speech are working correctly. Two coin mechs for quarters are installed and they are working without problems (the machine is currently programmed for free play). Original coin box is present. Front door and backbox have locks with the corresponding keys. Four leg levelers are included. Original manual, WPC schematic, and operator's handbook are included.
